Department for Education assessments put around a third of five year olds in England below a good level of development when they start school. Much of that begins long before reception.

Entry Requirements

Nothing formal needed to start. You will manage with:

2. A computer, tablet or phone
3. Age 16 or above
4. Time around children, ideally

Lifetime Certificate Validity

Your certificate has no expiry date on it. We do suggest a look back over the material every three years. Safeguarding guidance changes. The high-quality version costs just £5 when you finish. A hardcopy costs a little more.

Who Is This UK Course for?

A nursery worker can turn to the person next door and ask why a child is behaving like that. A childminder cannot. That is what brings a lot of people here.
